I love this family! Briana, the mother of Trinity, which if you’ll remember had the most awesome birthday scavenger hunt a few months earlier, called me up to see if I was available for a full family portrait on New Year’s Eve…day. So I packed up and headed out to their beautiful home for a few hours of family photo fun. It was a riot coordinating all eyes towards the camera…including the furry family friends, Coco and Lola. And it definitely brought back a lot of memories of stiff studio portraiture from the 80′s with my family.Basically the reason I never wanted to be a portrait photographer. Family portrait day was forced and uncomfortable. BUT, things change…and I now love it and have fun with it. I am pretty easy going and often think on the fly during portrait sessions. Quite often I’ll pose the family and shoot between poses for documentary style too…And this family had me worken. It was awesome. So all that and add a lil love…and you’ve got yourself a Gardner family portrait. Y’all rock. Thanks for letting me be part of this experience.
